Friends of Konanki were interviewed and also spoken to a man in his 20s who was last known to be seen with the victim and was last seen leaving the beach around 9:55 a.m.
The man has told several stories upon seeing the victim: (1) they went into the ocean, he got sick, got out of the ocean to rest upon a lounge chair falling asleep; (2) allegedly says she may have been swept away by a wave or she simply must have gotten out of the water when he did; and (3) saw victim walking on shore in water up to her knees and in the direction of her clothes.
